This year, we:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Financially supported six of our eldest children through their <a href=\"http:\/\/alalay.co.uk\/?p=3137\">vocational training<\/a> courses<\/li>\n<li>Paid the salary of a <a href=\"http:\/\/alalay.co.uk\/?p=1789\">house mother<\/a>, so she could continue her vital work bringing up and educating our children<\/li>\n<li>Fully re-furbished the <a href=\"http:\/\/alalay.co.uk\/?p=3367\">boys\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 welcome house<\/a> which was in a terrible state (re-plumbing, painting, tiling, refurbishing bedrooms and more)<\/li>\n<li>Funded the production of 10,000 fresh Christmas <a href=\"http:\/\/alalay.co.uk\/?p=3360\">panettone<\/a> (to sell and generate further income) to generate an income to support more projects<\/li>\n<li>Raised awareness of the plight of the street children in the UK and elsewhere through a series of talks and events<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fourteenth year As always, in 2019 our focus remained on helping Bolivian street children to help themselves.
