First year
In late 2006 I spent nearly six months in
Bolivia as part of my degree course,
where I worked with Alalay, a street children’s organisation in Santa Cruz.
It was an absolutely life-changing experience, and having realised just how much of a difference I could make to the amazing work that Alalay does, I resolved to return to England and begin promoting their work. I started to fundraise for, and give talks about, the plight of the street children.
