Fourteenth year
As always, in 2019 our focus remained on helping Bolivian street children to help themselves. This year, we:
- Financially supported six of our eldest children through their vocational training courses
- Paid the salary of a house mother, so she could continue her vital work bringing up and educating our children
- Fully re-furbished the boys’ welcome house which was in a terrible state (re-plumbing, painting, tiling, refurbishing bedrooms and more)
- Funded the production of 10,000 fresh Christmas panettone (to sell and generate further income) to generate an income to support more projects
- Raised awareness of the plight of the street children in the UK and elsewhere through a series of talks and events
