Tenth year
In 2015, we:
- Fully re-furbished the boys’ welcome house which was in a terrible state (re-plumbing, painting, tiling, refurbishing bedrooms and more)
- Continued to finance the salaries of houseparents and production projects’ staff (carpenter, baker, head of livestock)
- Supported more older children through vocational training
- Ensured continued effective use of our “internal-consumption projects” of the chicken farm and bakery
- Consolidated and grew our “income-generating production projects” including the carpentry workshop
