The COVID-19 pandemic meant that we had to postpone the vast majority of our planned in-person fundraising events and talks during a long time period. Meanwhile, Alalay’s work obviously did not stop (the kids still needed a healthy diet, educational input, and time to simply play more than ever), nor did our support to them. We allocated special funds to keep everyone safe, healthy and happy, and remained in constant contact with the Alalay staff team.
However this meant that we experienced a big loss of revenue. Please see below for the numerous events we were still able to run – with grateful thanks to everyone involved – we couldn’t have done it without you! 🌈
